Welcome to team: Wildlife, a natural history club for families. I am based at Old Buckenham Country Park and run a number of wildlife related activities throughout the year. Whether you join as a family or an individual, you will be part of a team who share your love and interest for nature. The activities are fun and fact-filled – ideal for beginners of any age.
Whilst there are clear benefits to becoming a member of team: Wildlife, you can join in the activities as a casual visitor. Whatever your preference, I look forward to introducing you to the wonderful nature we share this planet with.
Teachers and group leaders looking for wildlife activities or talks, please visit talk: Wildlife.
Members not only save on the price per activity, they benefit from additional discounts, have access to useful content, receive monthly e-newsletters and can join in on the guided walks I do at other reserves.
Old Buckenham Country Park is set in 32-acres of Norfolk’s wonderful countryside. It is sensitively managed with wildlife in mind. Its many hedgerows provide suitable habitats for a variety of flora and fauna species, making it an ideal location for learning about natural history.
Facilities: Large Marquee for team: Wildlife activities, pond dipping, plenty of picnic space, a playground, toilets and car parking. The park also has an excellent café serving hot and cold snacks, cakes, drinks – including excellent local coffee and a licenced bar.
